Cross stitching

I have not posted anything on this blog for some time because I was having a difficult time dealing with my illness and everything that comes with it. I have not been writing much apart from my poetry   as I find it helps me. Anyway despite the break in writing I have been trying new things and recently I tried Cross stitching for the first time and it was real fun but time consuming. If only there were more hours in the day. I would love to try more advanced techniques and make things for my handmade gift and party decor business that I started with my sister (In a Bubble). I feel there is so much things I could do with Cross stitching - personalised frames and cards etc.

This is the card I made with the kit I got from Cross Stitcher magazine.

Anyway I just wanted to write today. I was thinking of giving up for a while there because I was so fed up with things and life can be quite disheartening at times but I will keep at it because writing is what I do the best.
The reason I started this blog is because I am stuck indoors most days and this is my way of putting my writing out there for the world to read. Because when the world doesn’t give you a chance you start a blog! I have no design or photography experience or any fancy fancy equipment at my disposal and so this blog might not look the best at this moment but I am learning as I go on. And I have to say it is quite the steep learning curve.
All I have is my writing really and the words just come to me as I go along. I hope people enjoy my writing.
Until the next time,
Sona xx
